OCTA Business Rule System

An intelligent Rule Based Management System (RBMS) that allows developers and operators of applications to manage rules directly by entering control logic and business processing rules, already existing in the company, in the repository as a form of a knowledge database that the rule engine uses to process automatically.

Major Functions
  • MRule is a Rule Builder that provides easy and convenient editing of rules
  • Rule Server supports for edited rules (running millions of rules per second)
  • Test Wizard for simultaneous testing with the definition of the Rule / API Wizard for association with external programs
  • DB Connector to enable data from user DB (DB Query feature)
Characteristics
  • Optimization of inference by introducing intelligent inference algorithms / Open Architecture
  • Multiprocessing for large business operations
  • Obtain the best performance (Load Balancing, Preloading to RMA area)
  • Support variety of platforms
  • Provides APIs for integration with existing systems

RBMS

The Metis for Business Rule System (MRule) is an intelligent Rule Based Management System (RBMS) that allows developers and operators of applications to manage rules directly by entering control logic and business processing rules, already existing in the company, in the repository as a form of a knowledge database that the rule engine uses to process automatically.

MRule Rule Engine

The MRule Rule Engine is a high-performance engine with intelligent inference algorithms and is responsible for running applications. Multiple Regions are configured to handle large rules, and multiple Agencies are configured per region, providing the performance of over 130 users using more than 300,000 to 400,000 rules per second simultaneously. Concurrently, the Region load balancing function and the Dead program can be checked and restarted in the Console, as well as failover between regions.

Characteristics
  • Optimization of inference by introducing intelligent inference algorithms / Open Architecture
  • Responsible for running the application
  • Multiprocessing for large business operations
  • Obtain the best performance (Load Balancing, Preloading to RMA area)
  • IBM M/F (OS/380,z/OS), Unix (HP/Sun/IBM iSeries), Windows (NT, 2000, XP)
  • Provides APIs for integration with existing systems such as Middleware (CICS, Tuxedo), 4GL (Java, Vgen) Power Builder, Visual Basic, C++, etc
